Can 2 music tracks from the same source sound different, yet still be "Bit Perfect" ?

UPDATE. - DVD-A

Just out of curiosity, and perhaps a degree of expectation, I have just finished re-ripping "Carly Simon-No Secrets" 24/192 DVD-Audio using DVD Audio Explorer..
Wow ! Another night and day difference, at least to my ears, compared with the original rip which was done before any kind of dampening.
Once again, optical retrieval appears to be far from optimum, at least with real time playback from the DVD-A itself,even with the superior LG BluRay writer. Unfortunately, the track "The Right Thing To Do" is a whopping 196MB .wav file , but I am prepared to try posting it on request, for any member who has decent high resolution PC playback facilities. If posted, the file will expire after 3 days from posting, and a limit of 10 downloads.

Scratch that track. The 230MB "You're So Vain" sounds bloody sensational !

P.P.S.
The checksums of the DVD-A tracks ripped on 16th October 2008 are IDENTICAL to those ripped today.
