No, he means the Logitech Squeezebox Touch, which does some of what the Mini APE does, in a different way. Briefly put, it uses NAS and/or a PC and wireless technology to stream audio to a hi-fi system. I was considering getting one (they're about £180, so comparable in price) before I bought the Mini APE, but I didn't really want to go down that whole streaming route and although the Squeezebox Touch has a USB (as well as SD card) input, there are often problems using a directly-connected external HDD or USB stick (from what I've read on the web).

Thanks John. I must have Ipods on the brain!! Actually, I was stuck in a garage at Lowestoft today with the car and I'd bought a Pure :(1500 portable dab. Very nice. Good sound quality for dab and battery isn't bad at all. I'll have to invest in a camera bag to put all the little bits and pieces in when I'm away from home!! Anyway, passed a pleasant hour and a half in the garage with the radio instead of an ipod. Guess what - Stuart turned up on Radio 2 ........... Adam Ant!!!! Ian
