Quite interesting to note that Mr. Glitter has made it into the Cockney Rhyming hall of fame.... "he rammed it up my Gary!" "I was a member of his gang but he couldn't keep his hands away from my Gary" "you want to be in my my gang?" OH YEAH! Pork in the Gary..... Gary?...... "Gary Glitter = "shitter"...... I've got a sore Gary = Mr. Glitter has penetrated your shitter I'll get my coat By the way.... I LOVED the Glitter Band, fantastic sound! Angel Face will ALWAYS have a MAJOR memory for me..... awesome Oh yeah, I love that band too. One of my favourite album from them has, still is, to be: Unfortunately ............. Michael Jackson - "Jam" and "Black Or White"
The rest of the album "Dangerous" is either less or filler. Weird album...

re Paul Carrack, I saw him live about 10 years ago at The Shepherds Bush Empire, great gig IMHO
nice keyboards, but his vocals were not as great as I remember back in the seventies !

Yeah, he was at one time with Roxy Music and Mike + The Mechanics, alternating vocal with Paul Young for the last. Oh, I have checked up his latest venture and he has gone "Sinatra" in 2010. Musically not bad but his voice is just not for those jazz and broadway stuffs. I dunno why he attempted that when his voice is more suited for the pop rock stuff. Maybe like you have said, his voice is no longer as good for rock like he was in the 70's. Anyway, can buy his last album (2010) here if we are just into Sinatra kind of music, just like Westlife at one time. A sample from his "Sinatra" sound: One very little known fact was he was the cowriter for the Eagles' song ................. An Excellent song that is!

Yeah, going into after being reminded of them in the a/m reply. Yup, only tonight when I can go home early. Else, play them tomorrow, my country National Day. Oh, yeah, Brian Eno in it as well at one time.

Hi Jeff, I've never been able to get into Pelican, in theory they're right up my street but I reckon, for me at least, some kind of mood altering help is required . Try, Two Steps From Hell. They are not a band but a production outfit that make music for/inspired by video games, adverts etc. Quite nifty. As for dredg, I've never heard of them before but like what I'm hearing! Nice one.

Chris, right back at ya with T.S.F.H. - Fantastic On the first track 'Moving Mountains' there's a definite touch of 'O Fortuna from Orff's Carmina Burana' - no bad thing I have happy ears Jeff
