I've found also something MUCH better: A YouTube page dedicated to Portishead (I don't know if it's a kind of "official" page). Here is it: www.youtube.com/artist/Portishead?feature=watch_video_titleMost of their songs are there, mostly in good quality.

I've posted the following video already above, but I've to mention it again. This song is so addictive. Can't stop listening it...

It's not exactly my style, but I like it really. It's just great music.

Ooooh Christian, you closet rocker you If you have dipped your toe into the Faith No More catalogue you might also like; & they may bridge the gap and prepare you for other goodies They're from my favourite album by them, great memories of learning these beat perfect for pub replay. Ahhhh, them were the days my lad, none of this woossey.....blah ,blah, blah.... fades into a mist of self indulgence

Ooooh Christian, you closet rocker you I had a live before I got affected by electronic music. This live was hard and with enough metal. The interview with Jack Black was a reminder to go back to the past for a while. Just as Jack Black says in the interview: "The Number of the Beast" from Iron Maiden and "British Steel" from Judas Priest are absolute classics. Great albums!

I'm currently listening this... with my HD580 Precision's and the Neco BOSSFET V2.1. Those HD580's are oldies but goldies...

Camille Saint-Saens I originally found his works via the obvious Danse Macabre, which my very excellent secondary school music teacher introduced my class to, amoung many others. Not my normal taste in classical but none the worse for it

Inspired by Mikes writings in another thread and picturing the same I went forth in search of such lyrical pearls;
Yertiz!
Which lead me to this inspired offering...

I like some of the Thin White Rope stuff. Not everything, but a few of their songs have attracted me so much that I've bought them instantly in the iTunes store.
Only four songs so far.

Nice video (with nice soundtrack) from yesterday's "haboob" (sandstorm) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Does anyone know the soundtrack?
