Some tracks from the Verve's "Urban Hymns". I prefer their older albums yet there are some gems on this album...

I think the following link is worth to mention: wiki.faust3d.com/wiki/index.php?title=Music_for_Headphone_ListeningThanks to this link, I'm listening to some recordings of Klaus Schulze at the moment. Real classics of electronic music. The link points also to a few other great interprets and albums. BTW: I know that the founder of wikiphonia sometimes drops by here. Time for me to say "thanks" for this very informative website.

Jethro Tull's "Thick As A Brick", to categorize this music is nigh impossible.

I've just bought the Waldeck album "Balance of the Force – Remixed". I know Waldeck already since a couple of years and I've heard also the original "Balance of the Force" album. The original album is unique and very special – but so is also the remixed album. I was very suprised how good the remixes are. Unfortunately, I've found no YouTube videos of the remixed album. Instead of that, I'm posting a couple of YouTube links from good Waldeck songs below. Perhaps you aquire a taste for it.

In a similar vein , how about these . . . Yeah, why not... I've heard some Zero 7 stuff a few years ago. I don't like the Zero 7 songs very much though. Waldeck is closer to my taste. "Massive Attack", "Portishead", "Tricky", Smith&Mighty" and "DJ Krush" are also bands that makes similar sound, maybe also "Archive". Or we call it, what it is: TripHop. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trip_hopThe German wikipedia entry for TripHop names more interprets: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trip-Hop

(OK, this one below is more a dub song... but it's also from DJ Krush)
In fact, some DJ Krush songs are also categorised as Acid Jazz.
