An X-CAN V2 that has risen from the ashes...... The bottom board had suffered a bit of a fry up around the left channel Mosfets. All repaired and sounding fantastic. This V2 has been made up with spares I had kicking about in the workshop.... the front panel, the enclosure, the rear panel, the boards.... ALL spare bits and bobs I had kicking about. All of the capacitors / transistors and valves are brand new...... output caps are MUSE 1000uF non polar, power caps are Panasonic FC, ALPS pot, Input caps removed...... the valves are hand matched, NOS 6N23P (or I can fit matched Mullard ECC88)......... Being a Frankenstein V2 it looks different from your normal V2..... purists will hate it but those who like "one offs" will love it. The front panel has been sprayed black. The funky LED shows green at "OFF" and turns a nice tone of purple when the amp is switched on..... this is my own design and was achieved by drilling a hole into a green LED and mounting a purple LED inside the hole..... I think it looks EXTREMELY cool when illuminated. This is a 100% fully functioning / awesome sounding V2 that has been brought back to life thanks to donor boards / panels. It doesn't look like a conventional V2 but no Frankenstein wants to look like a member of the pack! Make me an offer.... it's got to be worth "something" Mike.

WOW ! That would take some doing without destroying the green LED! I bet a lot of others would love a LED like that ! I presume it was a 3mm LED inside a 5mm LED ? Kind Regards Alex

First one to offer £75 gets it I retract that silly post! Man, this thing sounds AWESOME and I have decided to keep it..... FULLY modded inside and sounds like heaven A little bit of psychology going down with the "£75" asking price and it confirmed my suspicions! Mike.
