I tried that with Grados and it proved to be quite bright for an amp. Otherwise no complaint. It is a solidly built piece of gear.

Anyone read the positive feedback review ?
I found it hysterical because the Black Cube products have been across the board called the second coming of yet there in print it states how they "have learned to make a proper power supply".Went on to say how long it took and that the products are better.
so what is the real deal ? If so damn perfect then how could the products be improved and if such a great design how come the guy had no idea about the importance of a power supply ?
Reviewers should be taken out back and slapped around until they "get it"

shouldn't it at least be shaped like a cube and painted black?

shouldn't it at least be shaped like a cube and painted black? Way too obvious and you, being an artist, should realise that! A black cube should actually resemble a large tangerine on a cucumber base...... "black Paint" ? nooooooo... a cube described as black should be painted with green neoprene rubber and a dash of fresh beach sand to make it truly "black" to the purist
