Hello,
Ik asked mike to suggest or to provide an upgrade for my X-LPSv3. His suggestion is to ask for expertise here in this forum.
I’m using a X-LPSv3 including the PSUv3 as my phono amp for a mc cartridge. The sound is quite good, the bit of warmth I need in my sytem and I like it overall. Things that could be better are the light hiss and hum one can hear if no record is playing.
So here is my question: Does anyone of you have experience with the X-LPSv3 and did you apply tweaks for a better sound?
Things to do that are bobbling in my mind are better caps in the power supply inside the LPS, better caps in the signal path, etc. A bit like the upgrade kits as provided by Mike for the other MF modules.
ik do hope to hear from somebody out there...
regards,
Henk
