Hi guys,
I'm new here and was just wondering whether anybody on here knew anybody in the UK that did wiring modfications for headphones?
I have a pair of Beyerdynamic T70p headphones that I want to get rewired and modified. At the moment the headphones are single entry and I want to look at getting these modified to dual entry with an upgrade to the cable.
The reason I am looking at this is I want to terminate with a balanced connector so they need to be dual entry.
Can anbody help at all as I am strugling to find companies in the UK that do this (lots in the USA) but dont want to send to america and then have to pay customs charges on the way back in.
I know about Toxic Cables but unfortunately Frank doesnt have the time to undertake this time consuming mod.
Cheers Jason

Jason, You would not get charged customs duty on their return, providing you can prove that they are being returned after repair. An Invoice or Deilvery Note stating this would ensure their free entrance to UK. NB I am speaking from my experience doing similar things whilst working but that was 7 years ago - no reason why that should have changed though. There is a member on here, (in the EU where the same rules would apply, but I will let him volunteer if he reads this), who is more than capable of doing all you need.
