Where's the T1 due next? Have you still got it, Chris? Ian I still have the T1, I am listening to it now while writing this. I have asked mike twice now to let me know who's next - I am still waiting for a reply, he must be really busy or he doesn't know? So Mike - who's next, PM me their details.
Cheers Chris

Aha, I'm supposed to be next. But I swapped places with other-Chris (CJ). He should be contacting you.
Actually, I wasn't aware until yesterday that the T1's UK tour was at it's end.
Cheers, Marc

I'd like to hear and and receiving it wouldn't be a problem, but having the time to send it off again might be difficult since I'll have a lot to do over the next few weeks and not much time to visit post offices. Also as I mentioned in the Panda S2 thread, I don't think I wasnt any more temptation right now... Still annoyed that I couldn't hear it a few weeks back due to not having the correct plug adapter.

So there are no more UK people who want to hear it? Come on U.K . "been here a whiles" This is a great opportunity to hear what high res material can bring to the party! Not only that, it is very nice looking, and I think that they would also make great Xmas presents for an older teenager, or even someone who never fully grew up! Alex

If it's writing a review that worries you, I can always help via pm. Otherwise, it looks like it goes on holiday to Spain.

It looks like it, Chris. No one in the UK is responding so it may as well go off to Chris and when it's done the Europe bit, it'll be coming back to the UK in any case.

Great. The other Chris will enjoy that. (perhaps) Not sure it's his taste in sound.
I'm using mine every day - lovely with the Senn HD650. BTW, the Senn 600 and 650 have a really poor paint job. The paint is starting to lift and crack on the headbands on mine. Really poor for a £270 or so headphone.
If it does a European tour and comes back to UK, any stragglers here can have a go before it goes back to Mike.
It surprises me that more UK people don't want to hear it to be honest. It's a really good buy but also something else to try and compare with what we all have now. I love it connected directly to the computer via usb.

We'll see I now have some good digital material ( & many thanks ) to throw at it. I'm listening to SACD of Trespass by Genesis. I've always rated the LP as more enjoyable than the CD BUT, crikey, I don't need a direct comparison, I'm hearing the final death of LP! If only all digital was like this. Tone, nuances, echoes, decays, space around instruments, width and depth of sound..... Superb

No, I'm still using the Weiling ( name? ), didn't get a chance Monday to do any tinkering. As it was dry I was land clearing instead. For the Amanero I've only just done the below in prep' this morning Attachments:

Chris I'm firing a Russian 6N23P-EB over to Chris so he can try the best of both worlds in the T1

Mine's permanently on, Mike. Drives an HD650 nicely too. It runs nice and cool and unbelievably low noise levels.

Just a silly thought, have you tried popping the black control onto the bare aluminium version? I have a feeling of extra cooooooolness may occur

Spain is under attack! THE T1 HAS LANDED Thanks to t'other Chris for sending it to me safe and sound. Additionally, as luck would have it, the "EB" valve from Mike also arrived today , cheers Mike! Excuse for yet more for pictures I have to echo was has been said so far about the very solid build quality, impressive at any price level but at £135 just outstanding, especially when you know they haven't scrimped inside either. I have to wait for a first listen though, I'll be comparing against a cheapie and my DIY jobbie (which looks enormous in comparison).

Blimey Chris, I only posted that 6N23P-EB the other day, that sure was quick arriving in Spain! I hope you like the T1, I've gone for one of the silver ones and it's a little sweetheart sonically, such an addictive tonality.... the stock EH6922 sounds great but the 6N23P-EB takes that "tone" into a whole new dimension (IMO).... anyhoo, it'll be interesting to read your impressions.
