Hi
My x-10v3 has been working fine until recently I realized that the sound stage switched to the right. Isolated component by component and the fault zeroed into the x-10v3 between my dac and pre.
Open up the chasis and everything looks fine. Suspect the tubes but both glow . The only way to isolate the tube as a problem source is to switch them . But before I do that (which is quite troublesome desoldering the legs , would like to seek advice whether anyone faces same problem or is there a better way to find out which component in x-10 went wrong .
Look forward to any advice . ThksST

I would 99% go with the valves (or one of them) being the problem. They don't last forever and what you are describing points to one of the valves on it's way out. Replace them as a new pair and you should be good to go for a long time!
Mike.

Check your interconnects too (switch them around)..... could also be something simple like that... also, swap the connections around on your source output... if the problem migrates to the other channel then it's a problem with your source.... double check everything before going with a new pair of valves.
