boxed, with stand & all associated plugs and cables etc.
I would say immaculate but they are pretty dusty (I blame rabbit, I haven't been able to use these since he gave me some Bayerdynamic 770's!)
no marks I can see and pads and everything absolutely in "as new" condition as it can be having been used sparingly for a couple of years.
I believe these are barely run in so they have their best years ahead of them and I am asking a very reasonable £135 plus postage.
Roll up, roll up...etc, etc

Sometimes, it's rather funny to see a very well reviewed HP and then to see it later sold off enmass. I also seen Q701 being sold. I almost hit the buy button until I "tied" my hands to the wall. Heh, heh, the writing is on the wall.

though to be fair, and it's not just because I'm selling them, I don't think the reviews were wrong, these are really excellent headphones.
It's just those of us with too many to choose from tend to gravitate towards favourite cans, although I loved them when I got them, I have now moved on, I'm sure I will again, I can never not buy new kit unfortunately!
these have to make way for the next ones (and help pay for them)

No, they're a fine, revealing headphone. Just depends on your taste really. I think they are the most revealing headphones I have, but I prefer the tonal balance of the DT990 pro.
Glad someone is about to provide a home for them.

Glad someone is about to provide a home for them. Ian Exactly, they are really good at what they do, but like you, my taste has moved on unfortunately. I haven't tried the 990's yet, although I'm definitely into closed back at the moment, mainly because I get complaints if I don't use them so it's a good job I like the 770s Yes, I'm pleased as well as that gives me the option to buy another pair (the rule in my house at the moment seems to be that I can only get new stuff if I sell old stuff first), I wonder what I should get?. They went pretty easily but on another site (peculiarly?), I thought they would go here first but I guess we are on to the next fad

One of the few AKGs I never understood existed. If you liked it though it was an interesting listen...
Somewhat revealing indeed.
