www.amazon.com/Dayton-Audio-DAEX25-Sound-Exciter/dp/B001EYEM8C/ref=pd_sim_e6 aperantly these little buggers can turn any flat surface into a speaker. i wouldnt mind a pair to see how they actually sound. that and i heard for the first time ever of the plasma arc speaker. which blew my mind. music through ionised oxygen? no way man Also just the other day i got 2 KEF coda 7 speakers from a friend of mine... i like them, i have two running off of a mono amp made by mcgohan. I also have a nice stereo ampliphier heading my way at some point this week from the same guy who gave me the coda 7's

NXT invented this technology back in the 90's, back then they were called "verity" and I bought a few shares in the company after seeing one of the first demo's at the Edinburgh Hi-Fi show. A british company, based in Cambridge with strong links to "Mission", they appear to have moved to China now

That's something interesting. Please report back after hearing. Btw, those plasma tweeters are something out of this world. You wouldn't hear the cymbals tzzzzhhhhh of normal coil tweeters but very close to ribbon tweeters. Almost like the real thing, it chimes instead of tzzzzhhhhh. You are right, I dun thing I will want to live with one too. The O3 smell will drive you crazy on prolong usage. This is not something new but already have more than 30 years ago. Btw, what plasma speakers you had heard?

one of my buddies built one just to see if they really worked... it sounded high (really really high. but clean high) man, he had a complicated fan system going on in his workshop to pump the o2 out, and we were wearing army surplus gasmasks while it was running for about an hour, but we could of sat there without the masks and probably been okay.

The gassmasks wouldn't have filtered the oxygene out anyway. Think about it, if they did, poisoneous gas would be the least of your worries, you would suffocate first.

So you still a share holder? No way Chong, I got out when they rocketed up to £22 a share (they peaked at £28 !!) Cost me 5 PENCE each (verity group) and then 5 shares became one when they became NXT so really cost 25p each!

Think about it, if they did, poisoneous gas would be the least of your worries, you would suffocate first. we didnt really care. he also had some really nasty wood finish curing in the room (past its combustible point in the process. so no fire danger there) we bough the masks in the first place for elaborate Halloween costumes. I also have a few cold war era german flak vests laying arounf my house (most have the kevlar panels removed, i stuck 3 sets of pannels into one vest. the only vest here with any real protective ability, the rest are just filled with camping mattress foam to go airsofting in. i tend to dive to the ground alot to avoid getting hit) me and my pals get excessivly elaborate with some of our costumes, though we never lose costume contests.
