the frans one is no longer being sold, and the pink one, i've had one int the past but no longer remember how to build it (or if he even sells it anymore).
also, is it alright to implement one between the headphone and headphone out on the amp? there are no rca ins on the leckerton.

Colt, you could get a linkwitz kit from Warren Young (Tangent) he's over in the USA tangentsoft.net/audio/mlxfeed.html Here is Chu Moys original article..... gilmore2.chem.northwestern.edu/projects/showproj.php?file=cmoy1_prj.htmCrossfeed between the head-out and headphone is not the generally accepted approach... it is more normal to fit the crossfeed between the source and the amp, either inline (using interconnects) or at the input section inside the amp. Sijosae is the only guy I know of that sold a crossfeed that plugged into the head-out (was some years ago): Got some pretty rave reviews at the time.... you can probably still contact Sijosae... here is his "page" www.headphoneamp.co.kr/ftp/sijosae/Gallery/Here is his XinFeed: A very talented guy (as can be seen from his gallery) but I don't know if he's still doing these XinFeeds now..... Have a SEARCH round and see if you can locate him Mike. PS: NO, I don't make the crossfeeds any more but if I "did" it would be something more along the lines of the XinFeed

Actually Colt..... Both of the Sijosae crossfeeds are a piece of cake to build.... you have the "monkey sees monkey does" pictures right in front of you AND even the values have been included A 3.5mm jack, a 3.5mm socket, a bit of veroboard, a few cheap parts and you are rockin' and a rollin' baby! Study the pics (top and bottom) and whack one together on veroboard.... if you get good at it you could start selling them Hope this helps.

thanks for showing. i'd rather not steal his design. i cannot use it on the input as my input will be mostly usb.

Merton, you stated that your UHA6 will be mostly fed via USB. Have you checked if your music software has a digital cross feed feature/plug-in?

I just looked in the options and J River Media Centre has a crossfeed feature with three settings: subtle, standard and pronounced. J.River isn't free, but there is a free version with less features: www.jriver.com/mj/, but I don't know whether crossfeed option is available in that.

Further to my last post, I just had a little play with the crossfeed feature in J River Media Centre. I think my conclusions are much as they were with a physical crossfeed; I prefer it straight.
I have a few 60's recordings, the sort of stuff where the lead vocals are on one channel and the rest of the band is on the other and even with these recordings I still prefer no crossfeed. With more conventionally mixed recordings, the crossfeed changes the sound, but, in my opinion, not necessarily for the better.
So, if your media software has a crossfeed feature, it's a nice way to find out whether it's for you before mucking about buying or building a physical one.

The problem is, as with analog crossfeeds, the quality and sound signature of DSP crossfeeds can differ a lot. Not liking one implementation does not necessarily mean you wouldn't like another one.
Apparently, there are different flavors available as DSP plug-ins for foobar. I might go and try some, if i find the time available.
Cheers, Marc
