quick question, my son has a v1 that I gave him years ago and was using a linear psu from Power Pax (they are not allowed to import them into the country anymore because of the new EUP rules) www.powerpax.co.uk/plug-in-power-supplies/linear_plug_top/ac_ac/products.htmlbut my question is that the markings on this psu are Output AC 12v 1000mA, and the x-can original psu which I have just found in the garage is 12v 500mA, has he been harming the X-CAN electronics in any way by using that PSU ?

No problem! The wallwart will provide up to 1000 mW if/when the X-Can requires it. Since you have an older V1 you may want to consider a re-cap. Maybe new valves as well.

ah, that is good news, many thanks, it looks like I have sold the V1 and my MF DVD-1, plus all my DVD-A discs, for a good price, and that will allow me to send my V2 off to Mick for upgrading, and funds to upgrade my SB Duet Receiver Attachments:
