Hi,
I own a Musical Fidelity X-10V3 and I wonder if it is possible to turn the X-10V3 into a small tube amp. I own a pair of Reference 3A speakers with a high effeciency of 92dB and don't have much room for a power amp in my living room. I know that the Musical Fidelity KW Pre also does have a tube output made of the same tubes (Nu Vista) as the X-10V3 and it generates 2 x 20 Watts max. Of course you need a solid power supply for the X-10V3 but I think other modifications are essential. Can you help?

It's not advisable. This will need a drastic modification. Might as well get something that's already designed as a power amp in mind.

Good advise, and in the long run cheaper!
