Mikes X-Cans mods

Just completed Mikes mods kit on my sons X-Cans amp,this included 29 Caps,fast diodes,ceramic valve seats and quad phono block.
All went together without a hitch,instructions included are very clear,only point to beware of is the tight fit of the valves in the new sockets.....care needed here !
After 120 hours or so burn in on the old FM tuner I have to say that I am impressed.....nay chuffed to mint balls,with the sound through either my sons Senn 565s or best of all my ATH W 1000s,I really did not believe an X-Cans could sound this good.
I can thoroughly recommend this kit to anyone contemplating an up-grade,obviously a lot of care and expert knowledge has gone into the selection of components.....many thanks Mike !
