As my poor little 8GB pen will only hold 15 albums (wav lossless) at a time, I was wandering if anyone knew of a good source of high capacity, high speed drives.
The best I have found is a factory refurbished Corsair 64Gb Voyager at £75.
Can I do any better than that? Either more capacity for the money or better price for the same?

Chris da penny pincher Chris That sounds like a pretty good price. A new 32GB Corsair Voyager GT would be around that price . I have a 32 GB and a 16GB Corsair Voyager GT.(The 32GB Corsair Voyager has a useable size of 29.8GB) Many of the cheaper brands are painfully slow. I download 24/96 directly to mine from HD Tracks or Linn as .flac, then also save the files to there after conversion to .wav files. Even ripping DVD-A to the cheaper brands can be painfully slow. Alex,
The ones I found were straight "Voyager", not GT or the latest GTR. I don't mind a slower write speed, as long the the read speed is good enough to run seemingly seamlessly with quick load/access time. I couldn't find the spec. for the standard Voyager, so I'm not sure how it stacks up against the GT for music use.

Chris Hi Chris Some of the slower generic flash drives can be MORE than 10 x slower when writing larger files ! Alex P.S. Check out these reports about refurbished drives. forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85049

I'm guessing there are negative reports as to the reliability of the refurbs? Chris

Thanks Alex. I'll take that as enough warning! "Too good to be true" strikes again
