Goldring 2500 was well worth the wait

It took me over 2months to get one but my new Goldring 2500 MM fitted in a Linn LVX arm has got me spinning all my vinyl again.
Had an old Ortofon MC20 but the sound had gone dead and the acquisition of a s/h MF X-150 amp with MM phono stage meant a new cartridge was required.
The Goldring sounded awful for the first 10 hours but the sound has now filled out and mellowed but still with bags of detail and dynamics. Tracking is excellent on my LVX arm at around 1.8gm and unusually for an MM surface noise is also very low. Never knew my Vinyl could sound as good, so well worth £220.
