New style Little Pinkie enclosure

The black Little Pinkie enclosure has served well for a number of years, it is compact and unassuming and does the job.
I have recently introduced a DC version of the Little Pinkie and the existing black enclosure was a little bit "too" little to fit everything on board comfortably (an extra PCB for the DC regulation etc.) so it was time to start looking about for a new enclosure.
I didn't want to go down the "metal / aluminium" route cause that would have added to the weight and, with shipping costs the way they are, it would have made the Pinkie cost prohibitive (ie: too fck'n expensive!) for most people.....
Nope, I want to keep the Pinkie as affordable as possible with best quality parts, hand made by myself, with a VERY high bang for the buck factor.... very easy to dress it up in a silk gown and charge treble the entrance fee but that's not what I'm about.
Anyways....... after much searching and many samples I have decided to go forth with ALL my Pinkies using a new enclosure. It is ABS (so, lightweight) yet much more robust than the original black enclosures. It has a much better footprint (sits on the deck and won't budge unless you kick it!)..... it is held together by 4 stainless steel bolts which mate into brass threads (very good quality) and the finish is slightly mottled and scratch resistant.
I'd like to call it "bullet proof" but that would be frowned upon by a gun owner who shoots at it but, you get my drift..... it's as solid as a rock and looks good (in the flesh) so say hello to the new Pinkie
It's so good (IMO) that I will start shipping them "officially" from Monday. I have 30 (or so) black enclosures in stock but will keep them as spares... I will update my website with details of the new enclosures within the next two weeks (I have already done it with regards to the Pinkie V3i for V3/V8 www.rock-grotto.co.uk/pinkiepsu.htm)
Next to be updated is the V1 / V2 / DacMagic page (http://www.rock-grotto.co.uk/pinkiev2.htm) I will be shipping the first "001" Little Pinkie (for DacMagic) to G. Copin on Monday and his Pinkie will feature on the V1 / V2 / DacMagic page.
I will be uploading internal shots of all the Pinkies (to the relevant pages) but, in the meantime, here is a sneak preview of the Little Pinkie V3i for V1 / V2 / DacMagic:
