That Pinkie I was talking about turned out to be a 12V version so I have modified it and it will be on it's way tomorrow Chaz.... I will send a couple of Russian 6H23N along with it, please try these first.... the original valves may well be dodgy.
You have the indeed amp right? You could try the 6922's out in it.... don't worry about the bias just pop them in for a quick listen.
Mike.

Mike. soz took time but they are both sounding right as rain to me. seems they have a more defined top end and a bit less defined mid to my ears than the stock electro-hamonix . mind you that is just with a few minutes listen. on the hd-650 that was.

thanks all for the info. Mike got the lil piggy and it makes the tubes and blue light glow. Been enjoying it for hours now with the super tubes, she still has some fire in her (2006 model). Mike, you are too good man it took 7 days same time as stuff from Mick. lord only knows where my 681s are back to x-can v3. Iancraig I think I know now what you meant about lack of travel on the indeed/bravo/miri . as this v3 vol pot is Smmmmmooooooovvvvvvvvvv brother ... some how more gratifying , I can't even begin to explain it lol I gave the black alum case a good bath, she looks sexy as can be in her black dress.... aherm... well with that said ;D I sure would like to make her silver front look more sleek and sexy too, she looks like she's be shuffled about a bit scuffs , rubs and light dirt. any magic (cheap magic that is lol ) cleaner to make her look fine as frogs hair? I am so happy about my leap into the unknown (tubes, its like I was afraid of them, strange as that may sound). mind you I LOVE my Heed SS amp, but there is something about the tubes that agree with me, can't put my finger on it exactly. the best I can compare to is listening to an old vinyl stash on a good turntable and speaker system. I suppose I'll say it seems to capture more of the magic that was recorded in a soul pleasing way more-so than SS . Mind you this comes from my limited experience. the pinkie and the xcan both get a bit warm, I assume this is normal? I set the Aune on top of the xcan and the aune was warm on top as well. Silly as this may seem I like the purple light in the xcan and its small size. and again I'm digging this vol pot thanks all I actually feel like I scored a real bargain with this amp

Chaz, Glad it arrived safely Those old type transformers DO run quite warm (which is why I stopped using them) they are "off the shelf" 30VA encapsulated types..... I now use custom made transformers which run a lot cooler. Nothing to worry about though, just don't leave it on 24/7/365 and don't site it on a thick carpet etc. make sure there's plenty of space around it. The V3 will get quite warm too but nothing like the Indeed / Bravo! The front panel..... get some isopropyl alcohol and some kitchen paper..... wet the paper and give it a good rub.... it will come up nicely Well Chaz, old chap, glad the PSU did the trick Seems you have got a good bargain. Peace baby Mike.

Mike your point on temperature is well taken. I just checked the two V3i I have and they do run much cooler than their earlier counterparts. BTW, one thing that should be noted is that the more current the amp draws the hotter the Little Pinkie will get. For example the Little Pinkie feeding the X10-D is much cooler than the one feeding the X-Can V2, although both run cooler than the older versions of the Little Pinkie. Cheers.

interesting points guys thanks. and Mike I honestly can't thank you enough mate. really heat? well this may seem odd but I somehow LIKE it lol I don't know, maybe it goes back to cavemen and fire or something. but there is something satisfying some how. I think I will say I LOVE IT so far, not did a compare with the HeeD but find it much better than the "other" tube amps I have. Before long Mike I'd like to talk upgrades.... whacha fink? ;D
