How come Mike you can make a small picture file look so big on the web? How do I go about saving them. For example I saved a picture some one had posted that was displayed large, but was only 159k when I opened it up in Photoshop it was 900k. Are their cretin rules of pixel proportions to achieve this when saving. Every time I try and post a large picture it always is such a large file. Confused Kirk

You have to compress the image Kirk..... let's say it's 100kb to start with and you compress it by 75% you will end up with the same image but it will be only around 22kb in size.
I don't know what picture editor you are using but there should be something like a "save for the web" or "optimise for the web" option in the program.
Always save as a jpeg and not as a bmp.
Hope this helps.
