I've had my X-CanV8P for a few weeks now and was wondering about how warm it gets.
The first two weeks I had it it got very warm to the touch and as of last night it no longer gets warm. I power it off after every use and I don't think it's the unit itself. I hear no distortion in the sound and all sounds as it did when fully warmed up.
My dad said it's from the tubes burning and ad becoming used to the current being fed to them but I don't know..
What do you guys think? Could it be the stock wall plug it comes with? If it is the plug, then that's OK since I placed an order With PinkFloyd a few days back for a V3i.

You'll notice this happens from time to time and I have always put it down to ambient temperature, ie: if it's a warm day the amp will run warmer.... the V8 generally runs quite cool at an ambient room temperature of around 68F but will run warmer if the ambient room temperature is 80F for instance. It's nothing at all to do with the tubes burning in.
