hi i am after some advice please.i have had my x cans v1 for about 2 years with no problems but a few weeks ago the right speaker on my grado headphones would go off until i fiddled with the power supply and/or interconnects at the back which would make it come back on,but yesterday it did it again and it will not come back on.it must be the x cans because when not listening to the headphones the right floorstand speaker does not work, but when i run the cd player direct to the amp both speakers work and so does the headphones.i know it,s a long question but any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks chris.

have you checked the interconnect cables, try swapping L and R around see if the fault changes sides or stays the same.
Are you able to try the headphones on another system like your amp just to check it's not the headphone or cable.
Robert
PS as I think the x-can has loop though RCA's also remove the cables the feed to the amplifier in case the interconnect has a short.

You will probably find, as I have in other x-ponents that the soder joint for the phono socket has cracked. It is caused by putting the leads in and out. You will need to open it up to get inside, but Mike has instructions on here as to how to do it.
