A big thanks to Alex (SandyK) for this one. You may find the volume control on the V2 a bit too "immediate" and in your face. If so, it's time to adjust the gain to give you more useable travel of the potentiometer. To adjust the gain follow these instructions: www.rock-grotto.co.uk/X-canv2-gain-adjustment.htmlI will be supplying 47K resistors with the V2 upgrade kits should anyone want to adjust the gain. I believe it's beneficial to the SQ.

Hi There
I know this a very old thread, but I'll try anyway.
Would it be possible to adjust the gain in the X-Can v3 ?
It seems quite "hot" to me.
Best Regards Jan Jepsen

Best Regards Jan Jepsen Jan There do not appear to be any posted schematics for this design that I can locate using Google search.. If you can locate a correct schematic and either post it or forward a copy to either Mike or myself,we may be able to assist you. Regards Alex
