A Big Thanks to the forum for sending me to Mike at Rock Grotto. My X-can v2 has never sounded so good. Today I received the Little Pinky P/S and the full mod kit including caps, diodes, new volume control and cool blue LED and about an hour later my Denon AHD7000's came to life. I cannot wait to spend some time with them tonight!

I have wanted to post my results but I have been very busy. Anyway a brief finding is that the midrange is back! and sweeter than ever but even more so I cannot believe what an improvement it has done to the sound of this system. I had just added a McIntosh MCD1000 DAC ($10k) a week before I did the mods so i am pretty stoked at the level of resolution I am getting from this duo. Highly recommended to anyone that owns the XcanV2. I have also listened to my AHD5000's and found the level of improvements to be identical to that of the 7000's.

BTW... I have the new XcanV8 & MF P/S coming next week. Should make a good evenings worth of comparison.

Glad you like it Mike As with all things electronic give it a good couple of hundred hours for the caps to "form" and you'll find the sound blossoms and fills out even more.... that's quite some DAC you're using there! Mike.
