The caps arrived today. Let's see if i have time today to replace these great capacitors. I never use these new Elna Silmic caps before, they seem a lot bigger in size than most of the general 220uF/50V, let see if can accommodate them in the amp's PCB. These are in fact an entirely new type of electrolytic separating paper is used, containing silk fibers. Does anyone tried those caps before?

Well, the sound is fantastic. In a few words: is a warm, smooth, hyper-detail lush sound. The midrange image and stereo separation are just incredible. And the high freqs, are definitely like liquid silk. The sound of cymbals and accoustic guitars are awesome with clarity, decay and extension. The drum snare have an incredible attack and the voices have an analog feel and a reality that i didn't felt before. I want to thank you all for the input and support. Thank you.

Well, i've done it. I'll close the amp's box and listen to some sounds. Hope everythings ok... If possible, try to keep the leads short. Also, put some putty or heatgun stuff to hold the caps from vibrating. Not too good technically. Whether you can hear the difference, that's another subjective issue.

If you have followed the thread you'd notice that some of the components i'd change are good but transitory ones, i.e the Rubycon should be with the same capacitance - 10.000uF - mine are 8.200uF and the bypass on that caps sould be made with a poly instead of a double Elna Cerafine parallel lytic like i've done.
The polys are: Wima MKP10/ 0,12uF , the blue ones are Rifa PHE/220nF.
The electrolytics are:
Nichicon Muse ES 10uF/50V Nichicon Muse ES 110uF/50V Nichicon Muse KZ 110uF/50V Elna Silmic II 220uF/50V Elna Cerafine 1uF/50V ( not in the pic )

I bought the 8.200uF Rubycon to a friend of mine from an old Rotel amp for 10,00€ and the rest total amount were around 17,00€ ports included.

I meant how many of each you used not what you payed for them.
