Every damned thing these days is tracking our whereabouts, whether it be phones / computers / "fitness" products such as Garmin / supermarket loyalty cards etc. etc. They are all electronic tags that people are BUYING!!! There was a time where you had to be arrested, be found guilty of a crime and THEN be tagged / tracked..... nowadays everybody is quite happy to provide free fingerprints (fingerprint recognition) and walk about with tags that they have purchased. The powers that be market it as "freedom to be who you want to be" and other stupid marketing phrases but they are all f**kin' tracking devices and 96% of the populous are too bastard stupid to realise what's happening. Same with DNA....... There was a time, not too long ago, where they could only swab your DNA if you were arrested. Not being found guilty of a charge, simply being "arrested" they could legally take your DNA. I don't know if it's the same in England Chris but in Scotland the NHS send out "packs" that are supposed to reduce bowel cancer fatalities by identifying it faster...... basically, you send them a sample of your crap through the post (Royal Mail) and they analyse it. Don't tell me that those samples are not DNA tested because they are!!! In the small print, and it takes a detective to find it, it states: DNA/ RNA extracted from all referrals are retained for storage unless the request card indicates that permission for storage is denied. When storage is denied, the DNA/ RNA specimen is destroyed following testing. The laboratory can also store DNA and/ or RNA from patients on request (for example where no specific test is currently available).So, by default, the nationwide bowel screening test stores your DNA on a database..... why??!! Some say that modern technology has made life a lot better..... I say otherwise. Freedom has now become a contained / monitored freedom within the confines of a CCTV camera patrolled open prison. George Orwell was only 32 years out with his prediction (1984) and even he would be disturbed by the reality of 2016..... f**king hell, we are now being ENCOURAGED by car insurance companies to fit "dash cams" into our vehicles..... bad enough the powers that be watching us on the roads but for us to start videoing our journeys? What the hell has our society become??!!! A nation of damned peeping Toms most involuntarily / some actively reporting to the all seeing, all doing EYE that is responsible for ensuring we seldom stray from our terminals of solitude and occasional "buy it now" pseudo state which has us believe we've never had it so good. Anyhoo........ I'm off to check ebay's deal of the day to find out what cheap crap Chinese made "wonder" they have on offer today...... I certainly am not off out to the pub because social gatherings in pubs have been banned by the PC brigade...... smoking verbotten and a soon to be maximum unit limit imposed (watch this space!)........ I don't know if you noticed, but the cop who "shot the unarmed black man in the back" was not convicted today. The major media forgot something - that the same video that shows the cop shooting the "unarmed" man also shows where that same man attacked the cop just before, and seized his police taser.
