Hi Chris If you like the Kills then you may also like her work with Jack White. Dead Weather Shaun I finally checked out The Dead Weather and I really like the album "Horehound" my most played CD at the moment, Nice find I Love the drumming on this track.

Another one joins the fold. I've been listening to this on Grooveshark. Many different influences peeping through and I like the balance of the recording, it has a raw feel. I love the keyboards on I Cut Like A Buffalo. This is the sort of band I'd make the effort to go and see if they gigged over here.

Hi Chris’s
Yup Horehound is a great album and Jack White is a pretty talented multi instrument playing Guy.
I like his White stripes stuff also
And this with Daniele Luppi

Sort of continuing the theme with my latest addition, Them Crooked Vultures. Another group of even older hands showing off their experience and pasts as influences to make for some good ole rock 'n' roll while keeping a fresh edge. I must admit I chose this one equally for the video

The wonderful Count Basie. I went to a Nick Ross gig last night ,if you like big band then may well appeal. Mostly over 70s in the audience though so quite a long slow walk to get out !

Hi mingus, here is another look at "The Count", a great concert from 1981 a magic 50 minutes with the bass of Cleveland Eaton driving them all along. Alan

Have to say though, I prefer his trio work, you get a better appreciation of his piano playing......more of it.

I've just discovered Wolf People, they've been time warped out from the seventies, so many influences and genres crossed/mixed.
