Joe Lovano US five, bird songs.I have owned this CD since 2011, I had eagerly awaited it with excitement, and had pre -ordered prior to release, usually I would seek a review first, but this is a modern interpretation of one of, if not the greatest alto players,Charlie Parker.I have just started to re -evaluate the CD after finding it at the bottom of my collection. Is it just me but I find it dull, Winner of a Grammy and countless accolades ,in fact I cant find a negative review. Any one else listened to this? I would be very interested in your opinion.

Hi Chris
Great choices and a really nice way to start Sunday. I needed the same sort of kick start this morning after too much mellow vibes last night. I tried these stompers
Jello Biafra
Full metal jackoff
And
Faith no more
Midlife crisis
yup the wide awake club
take care

Hi Shaun, not heard that Rodeohead before have to say I thought it was great fun but I am a bit of a Bluegrass freak.
The Scruggs documentary is worth a watch if only for the Joan Baez content at the end shot in a completely relaxed family home setting.

Hi Alan
I must admit that I’ve only skirted around the edges of blue grass but that selection was really interesting and good.
so more please
Alison Kraus I’ve listened to and liked what I’ve heard.
Anyhow this is one of my fave country singer song writers
and son of
just superb songs
BTW the Rodeohead was just a bit of fun covers of Radiohead songs.
Take care

I remember when FNMs Angel Dust first came out, I hated it! It was so different from the preceding Real Thing but it slowly grew on me a track at a time, my copy is on LP and it's the super pooper scooper edition, whatever! Just play the piggin' thing I had Ocean Colour Scene bopping along earlier I have the Talking Heads "best of" running at the mo
