Yello - Baby
Recorded 1991 but, still to this day, one of my reference recordings (as is "everything" Yello!)

I do remember when I had a blocked ear weird arse feeling, not to mention actually getting them flushed definitely a strange sensation but yes all of a sudden hearing back and because the AGC was wound up internally (brain) every thing seemed crisp sounding for a while. Robert

A really (reely?) ropey old cassette recording of "Stratosfear" by Tangerine Dream I dug out of the car boot, probably gummed up the heads by now rowuk, Some people boast of their Hifis but you're really blowing your own trumpet slinks off stage left from the deathly silence in the audience...

Now I have my AKG-701s, Rickster inspired Szekeres Headphone amp turned on to RadioioBigBand internet radio from my Mac with an M-Audio FasttrackPro DAC/ADC. 44.1Khz 128 kbit/sec BLISS. Later on I will be editing one of my last symphony concerts. 96KHz 24bit 12 track recording. There I know EXACTLY how big the stage was and the geometry of the orchestra and how much "air" was around each instrument. I also know what needs to be done to make that truth sellable.......................
