A few minutes ago on Drone Zone / SomaFM:
Wonderful sythesizer sound. I'm not really sure, but the dominant part of the track reminds me of 303 sound.
I'm listening it on YouTube at the moment, current combo ASUS Xonar Essence STX + HD650 running with Xubuntu Linux.

I have listened, in the past, to the first and latest albums by Earth ( wasn't that Black Sabbaths original name? ) and been left "unsatisfied". Maybe because I'm not big into slow moody electronica type thing, 'cos I sold my soul to Rock 'n' Roll maaaan, YEAHHHHHH! However, after listening to their "The Bees Made Honey In The Lions Skull" album I'm having a definite rethink. A real drift away into deepness sound, love it. Oh, Mr. Lucifer, can I have refund on my soul please

The soothing melody of Andrew Bird's song "Anonanimal"...
(Still using a dedicated CD-player as a source.)

Richard Hawley. I've passed much of his previous material by but the new album, judging by the tracks I've heard, is a deffo buyer. Paging Jeff .....

Paging Jeff ..... Receiving you loud and clear Chris Don't know how I've missed him. Not only have I never heard him, I've never even heard of him Sounds superb, right up my street. Definite touch of Mark Lanegan about the vocals. Off to hit Amazon. Thanks Chris!

The Editors, "All Sparks" and "Camera" from their first album. Two of my favourite tracks of an already very good album...

Just can't help myself but Deep Purple (III) is still my equal favourite album by them. Great originals and excellent covers too;

Well, this after Dale dissatisfaction with it .............. Actually, the whole album as a whole is not too bad on hearing it direct instead of thru the Internet. Recording after hearing this original is now a very good CD standard and mastered by Bob Ludwig and he's a very good sound engineer. Overall the harmony is not the usual high standards of the younger BB but a more modernised and mature version of harmony if you know what I mean instead of RAW harmony. I can recommend this album if you are into Acapella and American 1960-70 sync harmony and Osmond sound. All the songs are listenable from start to finish and I rather enjoy it as it's a free and easy listen. It will definitely destress you after a hard day work!

I saw this band live in 2006. Excellent gig. I've recently got around to listening to these guys. Absolutely love it, especially the older albums ( I now have them all ). Can't beat that recorded-in-the-garage sound. I never liked the White Stripes (of the same two person band vein) thinking that something was lacking but The Black Keys are great.

Here's another band I've only just found. I bumped into a live set on the TV last night so had to investigate... I'm very happy to be able to fly the Spanish flag for these guys from Barcelona, an unusual mix of influences which makes them rather interesting to listen to. Just two albums I have found so far. The Last Three Lines
