First saw this guy - like most people - on Jool's show and have now got all his albums. One of them has just got the best title - " I Started Out with Nothing, and I Still Got Most Of It Left" Anyway, here's Treasures from his latest - Jeff

Home alone and blowing the dust out of the loudspeakers with Jonny Lang's hot smoking blues.
Ah, nothing like loud music thumping on your chest.
It's a shame this boy has quit playing the blues, he started at 16-17 recording his first album.

First Masters Of Reality's "Kill The King" which was a pleasure but Johnny Lang was an outright joy to listen to. What happened to him?

Hmm, new year and check check any sensational act and found Judas Priest is coming to Singapore for their Epitaph Farewell Tour in Feb 20th 2012. So let's bring down the house if I go home early ........ So let's break something as usual for this type of genre ............ as they are ........... For being that, they were also given .............. Yeah, Rock and Roll ............ Yeah, join in the fun for your best JP tracks ..... PS: How did they manage to keep their hairs?

Will, You've gone and done it now! Your "Kill The King" has sent me off on a Rainbow fest'. (via the song of the same name) 1975, "Long Live Rock and Roll" Personal favourite track (remember I was only 9 when this was released ) Still love it....yeeeah! Awlllllright! Still no chance of growing up then

Brown Sugar presents "Let There Be Funk!", a collection of Funk from a forgotten era and very groovelicious indeed...

Yep, Ronnie was one of the most distinctive voices of the genre.
I first saw them at Hammersmith in late '83 and again in '84/85?
At that age barely a week went by without a concert or live act somewhere. Oh, and '85 was my first Knebworth Fayre, Deep Purple reunion tour.......memory lane!

I must go back and dig up the Roxette and Olivia Newton John CDs, for obvious reason, when I go home. Should be ok today as boss again overseas in the states. Didn't follow Roxette for awhile already due to their hibernation from 2002 onwards due to the Marie's brain tumour. Now they are active again as a miracle had happened to Marie. She is well again in 2009 to tour! So ............ From their latest 2011 album and I don't have this until I review it later But not to my taste this single. Ah, this is good ......... Ah, more typical of their yesteryears music. I like these ...... Now the older stuff which I still like much .......... Bye, bye, going home now!

Nothing 'happened' to him, But he has been exploring other genres recently and it doesn't seem as if his going back to the Blues again.
After his last Blues album, he went the Gospel route, as far as i remember correctly.

This poster has put "Highest Quality", I assume meaning the bit rate, but he might just as well have meant the music . . .

Trent Reznor is lead singer/writer of Nine Inch Nails. In fact IIRC, he is Nine Inch Nails. The music is so-called industrial rock. I've got a couple of NIN albums but I've never been big on them, however, he wrote a favourite song of mine - Hurt - which although his version is good, the Johnny Cash version is awesome. And I don't like Country music. I'm sure I've posted this video before. Rick Rubin produced. Not the first person you would think of to produce Johnny Cash but it absolutely worked.
Trent's original version . . .
