Some classic Genesis stuff, especially some of their tracks that somehow play with you on an emotional level....
I'm off to the car to grab it's copy of Foxtrot!

Queen - Somebody to Love
Yes, I know, another Queen song, but let me explain.
It's 4.45pm, and you need a couple of M10 bolts, like you do. So I jump in the car, and drive to the local DIY store. This song comes on, and brings the joy of singing loudly, out of tune and key, by yourself, with no one to critique or complain.
What a brilliant feeling.
Priceless.

Ah!! yes, Fantastic music, always great on a long journey too Will, not for some M10 bolts though, usually the M11, M25, M20, with all the other drivers looking and thinking, "look at that silly old s"d, head banging, must be loosing his marbles". Mick.

I am currently NOT listening to Eliza Doolittle's album. It's horrible - both musically and technically. Glad I only borrowed it.

I think my equivalent of that would be 'Key to the Highway' , Clapton & B B King. Especially if ihave one of my blues harps in the car. D.

Don't know who the blond is, but she's quite nice, as is a young Keeley Hawes...

'The Circus of Life' by Magic Pie. Old style prog. The opposite - 'Circus of Death' Moved on to Mike Oldfield - 'Amarok'. A strange album, but I really like it. Virgin had been nagging him for a long time to make 'Tubular Bells 2' so he made this instead!! It was getting uncomfortable with the company and he then moved after the next album and guess what - he made 'Tubular Bells 2' for them instead. (I like that!!) It has odd moments but that's what I like about it. I also 'feel' the anger on occasions. These companies grab by the balls, tight and it's not nice to be manipulated against your will. There's something about his work that is really attractive. The folksy/rock and repetitive rhythms with that typical 'swing' that he often incorporates into his stuff is catchy. This one has a hint of anger in it which I like.

I was cherry picking a few familiar tracks to pop onto SD card and USB drive for later when I was stopped in my tracks by Led Zeps "In Through The out Door".
I forgot how much I liked this album, playing right now is...

My GF bought me the Vaccines - what did you expect from the vaccines new cd the other day and it is a good album I dont normaly like new young bands that have songs in the top 40 but this is catchy melencholy at it,s best even if you think they sound like what they are doing is nothing new You can tell they were influenced by the likes of glasvegas, the ramones, jesus and the mary chain, the smiths and james Good value for £6.99 new out of tescos, and you can get it on vinyl for about £15. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU9hrd35Dsgwww.youtube.com/watch?v=a9cC8gqj7OE paddy
