Right on! Free were/are a seriously under-rated band - fantastic vocals, great drumming, a world class guitarist in Paul Kosoff and Bass?!! How on earth could a young guy like Andy Fraser who was only 17 or 18 at the time play Bass like that? Unbelievable!!

Andy Fraser had supported the Obama campaign too here: with a song .......... It's really amazing and surprising that Paul Rogers and Andy Fraser were the duo that contributed all the songs during their Free days.

Did They Ever Tell Cousteau - Esbjorn Svensson Trio - from Seven Days of Falling - Mmmmmm.....Nice. Some pretty jazz stuffs there from EST. Do you have the famous Jazz At The Pawnshop? Yes, it's LIVE and superbly recorded. Also, have you listen to the yank group Thom Rotella? It's on audiophile label DMP by Tom Jung and using Spectral electronics, designed by Professor Keith Johnson of RR fame, to record if I remember correctly ............

While we are "Live", I've put this on, the whole album is superb in every way and also sports the best rendition of Rhiannon I've heard to date.

OK, total change in direction, I'm not normally a big pop fan but when well crafted with a good singer, what the hell!
This one is Thai, I think she's the most pop in Thailand at the mo. and I like her voice...
Here's a couple of her big hits;
"I Sing Loud"

Some of them are translated from Chinese songs like this one: I love these most: Also, there is a westerner band (German I think ) covering Thai songs here: Just a clip from them ........ In Thai: More about them here: www.myspace.com/somango

Some of them are translated from Chinese songs like this one: Sorry, a thousand apologies! It's the other way round. This is an ORIGINAL Thai composition but also translated into a Chinese song. Sorry again as too many to remember clearly which is which .......

Quality of the YouTube video is bad, but the afterhour mix of "Firedance" is probably the best Firedance mix.

Jon Hopkins – Cold Out There
A beautiful Ambient tune. I couldn't decide which YouTube video is the best, here are all of them:

Well, well, well;
Two bands mentioned within a few posts of each other that I'm into, Rammstein here, you can always rely on them to produce an entertaining video as well. On the "Can someone explain what GAIN means" thread Sparks.
Both brilliant in very different ways. Both, when you mention them to others, you usually get very disparaging reactions to, broaden your horizons I say to them!
