Need help - V3 w/pf mod or x-can V8

Hi

I had the stock V8 before, it was very laid back(to much) compared to the V3, but it had bass.

I sold it, but i miss tubes.. so?

V3 with Pink Floyd mod's or V8 stock.... which is best?

and what kind of mod can be done to make the V8 MORE forward??

Why no pink floyd mod package for the V8? and maybe a USB DAC upgrade ..... ;D

The V3 and V8 are very different to my mind. V8 is lush and I think a little lacking in detail. I like it but only for certain music (sort of late night). I use it with the V8 DAC which I would thoroughly recommend.

As I said elsewhere earlier Solo is the way to go!
