Hi guys
Long time no speak. I have been happy with my Yulong Dah1 for a while, but solid state, though very sharp, dynamic, and the Yulong is excellent. It even sounds sweet on AKG K 701... well tube's are more alive.
The X-can v8 was dissapointing. It had bass(!), nice looking, but it sounded very much laid back.
The V3 was not as laid back sounding....
1: The Pink Floyd V3 latest 'mod', does it make the V3 more or less laid back sounding?
2: How can I now get a excellent condition or / new X-can V3 which I can get modded?
Can I order one form you mike? A lightly used V-3 which you mod with your mod's.... But I don't want those standard russian tubes, I rather use the Jan Sylvania 6922 ..
Anyone can help me on this?
Thanks!

Is the V3 modded a better amp than a stock V8?
Has the V3 to V8 model changed circuit alot? Only thing I know is that the v8 does not have output transformers, the V3 was only good with Sennheiser 650?
Does the Pink floyd mod also change the output transistors?
How does the sound improve? I always wonderd if the tube upgrade is what makes the best improvement or not.
Marrayo.... I am not a tech specialist, will I be able to do the mod easily myself??
