hi all just a kwick one i.I have the x-cans v1 and i am wondering which valves are the best for this amp.when i looked in the other day the valves had e88cc on them but no makers mark? any idea which these are.i listen with grado headphones if that helps.

thanks for the reply mate. can you use the same valves on the v1 and the v2 because i know they are different to each other on the inside.

If you saw in your X-Can V1 that the valves are E88CC -> then they are the same as those in V2 version.
Try to find these Russian 6N23P. They are really good. Very linear as well. And rather cheap on eBay ...
