I was having a bit of a comparison session last night between my Xv2 and Ming Da, when vshhhhhh-stik! Left channel on v2 died. Did the valve swap over test, yep over to the right now. Soooo, 6922, 6N23P and E88CC are the appropriate codes for replacing. I have some "ECC88 MADE IN RUSSIA" that were given to me a while ago. Are these the same as E88CC? I tried the cross check guide Rick posted but it came back with something else.

E88CC are equivalent to 6922 ECC88 are equivalent to 6DJ8 Simple as that I believe 6922 are "mil spec" and 6DJ8 standard types. Hope this helps.

Ta. They're in, certainly sound better than one channel! Just the same as 6N23P-EV is mil-spec and 6N23P is standard..... both sound identical.
