Hi
I have just come across this company offering modifications for the musical fidelity A5 CD player (http://www.audiocom-uk.com/modifications.asp). It looks as though they are doing the same thing as Pinkie!.
Does anyone have any experience of how good they are?

They are very well known in the hifi circle, in which their competitors are also on the lookout for them , especially their very expensive and above the average pricing for their super clock. Others you can also look out for are: Trichord Tentlabs Borbely Audio Burson Audio

Evening all.
I might be a bit late on this one but, for anyone who is still interested, I would recommend them as being decent people to deal with. The mods may be a little overpriced but I've just used their Super-regulator 2's in my X-24K and the difference is simply amazing. I would suggest it's a similar difference to what people report from using the JLH ripple eaters. I went for them as they are very compact and reasonably priced and haven't regretted it. One did fry unfortunately when first installed as, despite the original 7815/7915s not needing a heatsink, these regulators did require heat seeking. Mark, who runs the company, was very friendly and helpful on the phone and gave good advice re heatsinking and replaced the expired regulator with no fuss and very speedily.
As I say I haven't used their mods but their products and customer service seem first class. Hope this helps. By the way, this isn't an advert for their services!!
Cheers
Matt
