:-[I had a V2. Ordered and received the upgrade kit from Mike, Mullard valves from ebay. All set to mod and roll but......time moves on, my V2 is nicked and after a few attempts I buy another V2 from ebay. More time slips away until today. Sat down and opened up my "new" V2. Some where along the road misplaced my upgrade instructions so was digging through the wealth of knowledge here. Shock horror my new V2 is actually a V1.
The problem is how much of the V2 kit can I use. Caps and diodes on top board? Bottom board appears way different.
Opportunity, rolling Op Amps.
All advice welcome.
Mike, can you supply whatever I would need to complete the caps and diode upgrades and how about Dl8 sockets, B-dogs, Op amps etc?

Thanks for that. Done a bit more searching and looks like I need a whole different kit. Will make a list and get it off to Mike so he can help me out when he returns.

I wouldn't worry about it being a V1 - I have one fully worked over by Mike and it is fantastic!

The major gain from caps mods is in the powerboard, the most important caps being the ones directly after the voltage regulators.

Thanks all. On mikes return he fixed me up with the necessary extras. Much appreciated help including a new DC socket as previous owner had, obviously had problems, and glued it in place.
