I have those tesla e88cc in my xcan v2 and I think they sounded the best with the dt770/80. I have also used the JJ 6922 and the soviet 6h23p (I think 6h23p my brother has the amp now). To me the tesla mellowed out the mids and bass and improved the sound stage. I got mine on ebay (seller alexr1).

actually i like the high the way they are. i'd just like the mids to come up and the bass go down about 4 db in each direction.
