While I was sorting out some pics for another thread i thought I'd post this.





Weknow that the X-Can / X-dac etc were sold with puny power supplies - but take a look at the PSU in this beauty - huge tranny, big caps.. and all for just a pre-amp.

I don't know - but I would guess not. The PSU section seems to have been lifted from one of the power amps MF did at that time so voltage would be way to high? This is only a guess though.

Note you can just make out the tranny has "X80" written on it - the X80 integrated was c. 55W pc.
