After hours of listening to music on my pc the time comes were i need to plug headphones in because people go to bed etc, and they sound good, well very good.
Then i get bored and come back after an hour or so, and for some reason they sound markedly better than they did before. Now i'm a beleiver of speakers taking a minute or two to warm up. But in all seriousness these sound better after an hour than they do after 5 minutes. Even if i don't listen to them in that hour (counting out the factor of my ears getting used to it). And the sound chip on the pc has already been playing all night...
Anyone else report this or is it just me ;D

It seems like that, i noticed on my HD 580 too. It seems like 2 albums until things seem to get good. Since I've been on this forum, I've got down my HD 600's. They've been warming up on the PC, with a video logic system. I downloaded a vinyl rip of [OK COMPUTER - Radiohead] Flac 24bit 96K. Started listening to that after listening to some other things, which probably was about 2 hours (600's). And i was blown away with the sound. Then i put the CD version on my system, saddened as it didn't sound as good (HD 650 plugged on the hifi). then i let the system warm up comparing the 2 now, about the same, though the rip is better. So yeah its not just you.
