If you like the ATH-W1000, W5000, or AD2000, or any AT cans, want or need a portable, and don't like IEMs, try the ATH-ESW9. Pretty and great-sounding headphones, but apparently available in the USA and UK only from one of the special exporters like AudioCubes. Go here: www.audio-technica.co.jp/atj/sc/ath-esw9/index.html The "other" major headphone forum has plenty of stuff about them, but I haven't seen anyone here mention them yet.

I was interested in getting a pair but since I heard that it doesn't really have any isolation I dropped my interest.. Nice looking tho..

They isolate about as well as my full-size closed AT headphones, and leak about as much sound. At least on my ears.

I have had them almost from the beginning of when they were available. They are very nice sounding headphones. I think they have excellent tone without the extended image width of the w5000 while still having adequate imaging.
Isolation is very good for a headphone that sits on your ears. I use it at work without any issues. You can hear others talking around you and be aware of things while not bothering others.
