I'm after a pair of portable headphones for use on the train / waling about. I currently use a pair of Sennheiser MX500 but they're on their last legs.
Can anybody recommend any good closed headphones as a replacement. I could do with blocking out those pointless mobile phone conversations people always seem to have.
Also has anyone used Sennheiser CX300, if so are they any good and is it me or are all the pairs on ebay fake at that price?
Cheers

Would you consider IEM's or do you have to have closed headphones. How much are you willing to spend? If on the cheap the Equation RP21 is a fantastic unit which IMO sounds great at about $100 plus tax. Their MSRP is $150.

i hear the futuresonic atrio (roaddogonline.com) and the goldring gx200 are nice. i haven't heard much about the gx200's sound signature though.
