Everybody love the Beatles?
What's your favourite fab four albums?
"Rubber Soul" through to "Let It Be" is a rich vein of classic pop/ rock music. I'll choose "Abbey Road" a wonderful recording & a little bit prog in places. I wonder how they would have developed if they had stayed together a few more years. I guess a mixture of Wings & the Plastic Ono Band would probably be the answer.

I like "Let It Be.......Naked" best. Much better than the abysmal mess Phil Spector made of the originally released album.
Vinyl sounds better to me than CD - I have both.

I've never heard the Naked version but I tend to agree with you about the original.

Are they as good as Whitney Houston? No way man! nobody beats Whitney... the Beatles are on a par with Britney Spears.... very much like "take that" but with a scouse accent.... just a bunch of buskers really.

I keep thinking about getting the "Love" album on vinyl - the CD is a cracker, and I keep hearing good reports about the vinyl sounding much, much better.
As a greatest hits type compilation I don't think you can go far wrong with the "1" album - on vinyl of course.

I've only heard the Love album once, at a friends house on CD. Before I heard it someone mentioned Stars on 45 & I kept on thinking of the old Beatles Stars on 45 single, which kinda put me off somewhat.
