I'm currently using the standard Wall-Wart PSU as supplied with the LPS V3. Was looking to get the V3 PSU as a potential upgrade to the LPS performance. I already have an Isotek GII Sub filter feeding all the equipment with upgraded mains leads, so would an the upgraded PSU make a lot of difference?

Yes, it does. There will be more bass (the most noticeable), air, wider soundstage and depth. The singer and instruments will be more present. Although the X=PSU V3 is good but there are better alternatives like DIY one, like your truly, and the Pinkie sold here. Although I haven't the chance to compare between mine and Pinkie but technically mine is superior for obvious reason. But you must be technical enough to wire one up as there are DANDEROUS HIGH VOLTAGE involved. Hopes this helps.

Thanks XTRProf for the advice. Thought it might be the case, as having seen the pics of a stripped V3 PSU on the forum, there didn't seem a lot to it for the money at £249 (UK)! Though you can run up to 4 MF pieces of kit off it and as I have only 1 piece of kit, the alternatives are obviously more cost effective and by all accounts higher quality. Thanks again.
