Got it today. Looks nice! Sounds GOOD  (I suppose I should write something more insightful, but probably it's all been written anyway, and I'm too distracted by all the life that was suddenly injected into the music.)   |

With my cans, the Pinkie resultet in better bass, but bass does not appear to extend (much) deeper. Is that a lost cause then, or could possibly other mods help?
My only problem with the Pinkie is that I can't explain to my wife how it is better than some other PSU delivering the same current.

I have just received my new L PINKIE.
It looks nice. I had plugged it to V8 and now it is burn-in.
The first impression when I plugged it its a improvent sound in my phones.
I am waiting for a full burn-in sistem for test all the gear.

By now, your Little Pinkie will be working as it should be?
The change, especially afteryou have changed valves as well is really dramatic.
I had a little play with my V1 and V2 today, alternating between stock power supply and Little Pinkie and on the stock supply, it isn't long before the sound starts to clip. (I have Russians fitted) (I think ...)
Using the standard supply, once I get to 12 0 clock, distortion starts to creep in. Worse on the K701.
Change over to Little Pinkie and it it drives it easily. The sound also becomes 'easier' and more relaxed.
The power supply is a must with these amps imo. Far better drive capability, especially when you put some half decent valves in.
When you compare the standard supply and Little Pinkie directly, it makes you realise how much the power supply does for this type of amp.
