I have acquired a batch of these very rare US military valves. These are the type Musical Fidelity fit in the X10 v3 tube buffer and kW 500 integrated amplifier, Musical Fidelity’s highest performance tube to date. It’s more linear and quieter, with better performance capabilities than either their highly regarded Nu-Vista or Tri-Vista tubes. This batch was made in July 1985 (22 years old!) and each valve is sealed in its original bag and carton. Never used, absolutely 100% NOS.... for use in the £3995 kW 500 Integrated Amplifier and the X-10 v3 tube buffer. I have limited stock of these so grab a pair today before they all run out!

This might be a really dumb question, but can these just be rolled into regular X-ponents? and what would the results be like?

Hey Mike, Been busy and somehow missed this post. I have 2 X-10v3s that are going to have to last me a very long time. I also don't know if Mu-Fi will service modified x-ponents (even out of warranty). If you still have any, I would like to know your preferred method of doing business with us blokes in the U.S. Thanks and take care Mike, Henry Aguado

Hey Mike,
Sorry to resurrect this moldy oldy thread, but I was wondering if you still had any 6112s.
After reading your thread about the X-DAC v8 and MuFi's attitude about modding (of which am guilty) I started to worry about whether they would supply me with replacement tubes for my X-10 v3.
As I mentioned in my previous post on this thread, barring a lottery win or a large inheritance from a rich uncle I don't know about, the X-10 v3 will literally be the last preamp I will ever own.
If you are out, any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Buelligan
